We pride ourselves on funding vital research into a range of different forms of cancer and other serious diseases. We have an established track record of funding translational research in breast cancer, prostate cancer, head and neck cancer and skin cancer and melanoma. We've also funded research projects in areas such as kidney disease, heart disease, mental health, and much more.
How will I know if I've won the $1000?

Lottery winner will be drawn after lottery closing date of 28 October or earlier if all tickets are sold. If you are one of our lucky winners we will notify you by phone.

Terms and Conditions

Promotional period: 14 weeks or until all tickets sold

Raffle Opens: 12:00pm, Friday 1 November  

Raffle Closes: 11:59pm, 10 February 2025 or earlier if all tickets have been purchased.

Raffle Draw: 12:00pm, February 11 or earlier if all tickets have been purchased. 

Total prize value: $1,000

All tickets must be purchased online by credit or debit card, or PayPal. 

Only 1,000 tickets at $5 each will be sold. Open to Australian residents 18 years and older. Winner will be notified by phone. The first name, initial of the last name, suburb and winning ticket number of all lottery winners will be published online the next business day after the final Major Prize Draw on the PA Foundation website.
 
To claim a prize each lottery winner must present documentation to meet the 100-point proof of identity. This equates to their current driver’s licence and passport or birth certificate. The winner must also provide their official winning lotteryticket in order to claim their prize.

Publicity 
The Promoter may use prize winners’ details for promotional purposes. By entering the Promotion, the lottery winner agrees to participate in reasonable media activities concerning the Promotion and to photographs or video of the winner being used for the Promoter’s marketing and promotional activities (both in print and on the internet).

Major/First Prize Details 

$1,000 cash payable by bank transfer.

The winner will need to provide a copy of their bank statement outlining Account BSB, Account Number and Account Name. The funds will be transferred in Australian dollars to a bank account in the name of the winner by electronic funds transfer within seven days of claiming. 

Conduct of draws 

All prize draws will be conducted at the PA Research Foundation offices.

Refunds  

Refunds are generally not accepted.

Changes 

Where it is lawful to do so, these Terms and Conditions may be updated to address any errors or to clarify information and re-published online at pafoundation.org.au
