The PA Research Foundation prides itself on funding vital research into a range of different forms of cancer and other serious diseases. The Foundation’s commitment to supporting health and medical research has spanned 40 years of operation from humble beginnings in 1984.The organisation recently launched a new way for people to support their vital work; A $1000 Health and Medical Research Lottery.
With just 1000 tickets up for grabs, at $5 each, participants stand a great chance of potentially winning the lottery, which is run via the Foundation’s website. Even past winners can still participate. All funds raised from the raffle go directly to health and medical research at the PA Hospital campus.
PA Research Foundation Chief Executive Officer Damian Topp believes that this new initiative is not just about winning a cash prize; it’s about supporting the vital research that can save lives and improve patient outcomes.
“Every dollar invested in research brings us one step closer to novel solutions and groundbreaking discoveries. The community’s continued support through donating or raising funds forms the backbone of our fundraising efforts thus far and our new lottery is another way they can support our work,” he said.
“Each ticket sold helps us continue our journey towards medical breakthroughs. Together, we can make a significant impact on healthcare at the PA and across the world.”
Join the Foundation’s effort in supporting world-class research and improving patient lives. The first raffle will be drawn on 28 October 2024 or earlier if all tickets have been purchased (winners will be notified via phone).
