2018 Translational Research Innovation Awards
The PA Research Foundation's inaugural Translational Research Innovation Awards have been distributed to seven research project teams for the 2018 calendar year. Each research team has been awarded $100,000 for the first year of their project.
Our Translational Research Innovation Awards have been established to allow us to take a more donor directed approach in the distribution of grants; our donors want to fund the most innovative and ground-breaking research leading to improved patient care in preferred areas, our new Awards help facilitate this. Our funding areas are: breast cancer, prostate cancer, skin cancer, other cancer and other health.
Through our new Awards, we will continue to invest in research that is innovative, novel and will give us the best opportunity of supporting the next big medical discovery or transformational health care project.
