Who doesn't like a chocolate fix to help get you through a hard day's work, especially at Easter.
With the dedicated healthcare heroes of the PA Hospital (PAH) working tirelessly to keep the community safe and well through the COVID-19 crisis, PA Research Foundation (PARF) made sure they didn't miss out on their Easter chocolates, delivering baskets of Easter eggs to hospital departments on Easter Thursday.
With PAH Executive already on the task of delivering scrumptious hot cross buns, PARF CEO Damian Topp and Fundraising Coordinator Luke Cridland set about making sure the hardworking staff were able to get their chocolate fix while working over the Easter break.
Though social distancing measures were strictly adhered to, there was no shortage of community spirit among PAH staff, who continue to rally together at this challenging time.
Damian said though the 'eggcellent delivery' is an annual PAH staff appreciation initiative for the PA Research Foundation, this year took on extra significance.
"All of the staff and the volunteers are working tirelessly, putting in long hours to help the community stay safe and as well as possible at this time," he said.
"This was just a small way for us to thank them for their dedication to the patients of the PA Hospital and for supporting the wider community. It's just a chocolate egg, yes, but it's the least we can do to show them how much they are valued and appreciated."
